2021 Nissan Titan for Sale in West Springfield, MA
The 2021 Nissan Titan is a smooth, comfortable, well-stocked, and powerful midsized truck that can handle rugged jobs and dusty, adrenaline-pumping adventures with ease. Besides beating out all of the stalwart domestic pickups to lead its class in standard horsepower and torque, as well as the most standard technology, it has America’s best truck warranty, at 5 years/100,000 miles. And while we’re talking about how it stacks up against the American makes, we’ll mention that the Titan is built in the U.S. as well.
Trims, Towing and Powertrain
The 2021 Nissan Titan is offered in S, SV, Pro-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve trim levels. Two cab sizes are available: an extended cab (which Nissan refers to as King Cab) and a crew cab. The extended King Cab is only available for the S and SV trim levels, while the crew cab is offered for all five. The power source is a 5.6-liter V8 that churns out 400 horsepower and 413 lb.-ft. of torque (both best-in-class); it’s joined to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Most trims come with standard rear-wheel drive and are eligible for four-wheel drive, but the Pro-4X is made exclusively with 4WD. Towing capacity maxes out at 9,310 pounds with the RWD King Cab models, and payload caps at 1,690 pounds with the 4WD King Cab models.
The base S comes with a radiator skid plate, automatic headlights, 18-inch wheels, cargo bed tie-downs, LED cargo bed headlights, keyless entry and push-button ignition, a 40/20/40 split front bench seat, a 60/40 split fold-up rear bench seat, cloth-upholstered seats, and a rearview camera. The SV adds heated side mirrors and improved cloth seats. Through the optional SV Convenience Package, the buyer can add front captain’s chairs, a configurable center console with a smartphone holder, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button ignition (locks/unlocks the doors without you needing to take the key fob from your pocket), remote start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power-sliding rear window.
The SV Utility Package will add rain-sensing wipers, a HomeLink system, a lockable rear-seat cargo organizer, a fold-flat rear floor, a Utili-track Channel System with four tie-down cleats, a spray-on bedliner, a bed-mounted 120-volt AC power outlet, LED under-rail bed lighting, and rear bumper step assist. Last up, the SV Tow Package yields a trailer brake controller, trailer light check, power-extendable heated tow mirrors with turn-signal indicators, side mirrors with puddle lights, and a Class IV tow hitch receiver with 4-pin/7-pin wiring harness. The Pro-4X is more off-road-oriented and comes with most of the contents of the SV Convenience Package: additional skid plates, front tow hooks, LED headlights and fog lights, Bilstein off-road shock absorbers, an electronic locking rear differential, hill descent control, and a spray-on bedliner.
The Pro-4X has its own optional Convenience Package, which supplies a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, heated front seats, remote start, heated rear seats, memory functions for the driver’s seat and steering wheel, a power tilt-and-telescopic heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, Pro-4X leather-embroidered seats, side mirrors with reverse tilt-down functionality, and an auto-dimming side mirror. The Pro-4X also qualifies for a Utility Package that combines the features from the SV Towing and Utility packages. Heated and ventilated front seats and a dual-panel panoramic moonroof are available with the Pro-4X Moonroof Package.
The SL loses the Pro-4X’s off-road elements but keeps most of its features. It also comes with the items from the Pro-4X Convenience Package, 20-inch wheels, chrome exterior and interior trim, and running boards. The SL Tow Package provides front tow hooks, a trailer brake controller, trailer light check, and heated and extendable chrome side mirrors with turn-signal indicators. At the top of the range, the Platinum Reserve is given most of those optional features on top of upgraded leather upholstery and wood-tone trim. The Platinum Reserve Utility Package adds Titan boxes and rear-bumper step assist.
Active Safety and Technology
All versions of the 2021 Nissan Titan are provided with the most standard safety technologies in its class through Nissan Safety Shield 360. This advanced active-safety suite contains class-exclusive Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. Other driver aids from the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite include blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a rear sonar system, Intelligent Driver Alertness (monitors driver fatigue and alerts them to pay attention), lane departure warning, and high beam assist. Adaptive cruise control is standard on the SV, and the optional SV Convenience Package will add front and rear parking sensors. The Pro-4X Convenience Package is highlighted by a surround-view camera system; the SL inherits all of the technologies in these optional packages.
The S is given an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen (the largest in its class), both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free and audio streaming capability, two USB ports, and a six-speaker audio system. The SV gets satellite radio and a Wi-Fi hotspot, and the SV Convenience Package will improve the system with a 9-inch touchscreen, navigation, and two additional USB ports. The Pro-4X with the Utility Package sweetens the sound with a premium 12-speaker Fender audio system, which comes standard in the SL and Platinum Reserve.
