Buyers of the 2025 Rogue have five trims to select from: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum. A turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine (201 horsepower and 225 lb.-ft. of torque) works with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to form the powertrain. While front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is offered across the lineup; it’s standard on the extra-rugged Rock Creek. The EPA’s officially estimated fuel economy stands at 30 mpg around town and 37 mpg on the highway for FWD versions, while those with AWD achieve 28 city/35 highway (27 city/32 highway for the Rock Creek).
The base S is equipped with the essentials: cloth upholstery, push-button ignition, manually adjustable front seats, a 60/40-split folding rear seatback, two USB ports, a 12V power outlet, and LED headlights. SV buyers will get a little more: remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, and two additional USB ports. With the Premium Package added, this trim will also get leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a dual-panel panoramic moonroof.
As a first-timer for the Rogue nameplate, the Rock Creek trim is designed for adventure. It gets standard AWD, all-terrain tires, black exterior accents, upholstery in a combination of cloth and leatherette, heated front seats, and an additional 12V power outlet. The optional Premium Package provides a heated steering wheel, position memory for the driver’s seat, wireless phone charging, proximity cargo access, and side-view mirrors with turn-signal indicators.
The SL builds on the SV’s offerings with genuine leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink (this feature is optional for the S, SV, and Rock Creek). The available Premium Package will supply position memory for the driver, a dual-panel panoramic moonroof, and proximity cargo access. Puddle lamps and rain-sensing wipers can be added separately.
At the top of the lineup, the Platinum represents plushness with quilted semi-aniline leather upholstery, driver’s-seat position memory, and a dual-panel panoramic moonroof. A Premium Package is offered for this trim as well, with heated rear seats and proximity cargo access; it’s eligible for remote-activated puddle lights and rain-sensing wipers as well.
Every 2025 Rogue trim comes with Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 suite, which consists of forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, reverse automatic braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring. The SV trim and above get a bit more advanced, adding blind-spot intervention, intelligent lane intervention, and ProPilot Assist adaptive cruise control.
The Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum welcome a surround-view camera, but the trail-focused Rock Creek’s version is the only one with a special off-road mode. The SL and Platinum also come with traffic sign recognition, front and side parking sensors, and the more advanced ProPilot Assist with Navi-link system. What’s more, the Tech Package for the SL and Platinum will upgrade the ProPilot 2.1 system while adding active driver attention monitoring.
The infotainment system in the latest Rogue varies by trim. The S has an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and a four-speaker audio system. The SV and Rock Creek add a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, and another pair of speakers. The SL goes big with a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, wireless smartphone integration (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), and onboard navigation. The Platinum gets the best sound system, a Bose unit with ten speakers.
