Nissan presents three trim packages for the front-wheel-drive Sentra: S, SV, and SR. A 149-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine serves all three, as does a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The EPA has determined that the 2024 Sentra achieves fuel economy of 30 mpg around town and 40 mpg on the open road (38 mpg on the highway for the SR).
The included equipment for the Sentra S focuses on the essentials, like manual air conditioning, a six-way manually adjustable driver’s seat, halogen headlights with automatic on/off, and fabric upholstery. This entry-level trim also gets remote keyless entry, power side mirrors, push-button start, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, a 4.2-inch driver information display, a USB port, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, and 16-inch steel wheels with covers.
The SV takes the Sentra beyond the basics with premium fabric upholstery, proximity keyless entry, heated power exterior mirrors, a 7-inch driver information display, two additional USB ports, 16-inch aluminum wheels, and access to some optional equipment groupings. The All-Weather Package will add heated front seats, dual-zone automatic temperature control, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and remote start. The SV Premium Package (which includes the contents of the All-Weather Package) gives the Sentra a power moonroof, quilted leather-trimmed seating, a six-way power driver’s seat with lumbar controls, a leather-wrapped shift knob, a rear center armrest with a cupholder, side mirrors with integrated turn-signal indicators, 17-inch alloy wheels, and additional driver-assist features and infotainment equipment (which are explained in the sections that follow).
The SR is the sportiest version of the Sentra, getting a rear spoiler (among other unique body treatments), black-finished exterior accents, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, LED headlights and fog lamps, sport-cloth upholstery, remote engine start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The optional SR Premium Package adds a power moonroof, a heated steering wheel, Prima-Tex upholstery, a six-way power driver’s seat with lumbar control, premium front LED lighting, sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, and additional driver-assist features and infotainment equipment.
All 2024 Sentras come have Nissan Safety Shield 360 installed. This acclaimed set of driver-assist technologies includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, rear door alert, rear parking sensors, and a driver alert monitor. Adaptive cruise control comes standard on the SV and SR, while either trim with the Premium Package elected will get a surround-view monitor. A full set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, active ride control, hill start assist, and a rearview monitor are also standard on every trim.
The Sentra’s infotainment system is housed within a color touchscreen: 7 inches for the S and 8 inches for the two higher trims. All levels get Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and a text-messaging assistant. A four-speaker audio system is standard in the S, while the SV and SR get a six-speaker arrangement and SiriusXM satellite radio. The available SV and SR Premium Packages will upgrade the audio situation to an eight-speaker Bose array. Access to NissanConnect Services and a Wi-Fi hotspot are part of the SR Premium Package.
