The 2024 Nissan GT-R is a four-passenger, all-wheel-drive sports car offered in Premium, T-spec, and NISMO trim levels. All three trims are invigorated by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that works with a six-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission. While the Premium and T-spec produce 565 horsepower and 467 lb.-ft. of torque, the NISMO is tuned to put out 600 hp and 481 lb.-ft. of torque. The GT-R also achieves respectable fuel efficiency, returning an EPA-estimated 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway across all trims.
Nissan doesn’t hold out on supplying the ’24 GT-R with cutting-edge performance features, as the base Premium is set up with a Bilstein suspension, Brembo brakes, a vehicle control system with selectable drive modes, a limited-slip rear differential, a titanium exhaust, a rear spoiler, a carbon-fiber engine chassis brace, and 20-inch wheels with Dunlop high-performance run-flat tires. This trim also has leather-upholstered heated front seats with synthetic-suede inserts, two zones of automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, a configurable multi-information display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, two USB ports, LED headlights, and variable-intermittent speed-sensitive windshield wipers.
The T-spec adds carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, semi-aniline leather upholstery, unique interior design elements, a quilted Alcantara leather headliner, special kick plates, and gold-painted 20-inch wheels. The top-tier NISMO takes performance to the next level with a more aerodynamic body design featuring multiple carbon-fiber components, a NISMO-tuned suspension, front fender air outlets, and wider 20-inch wheels. On the inside, the NISMO gains Recaro leather-trimmed front seats, black and red interior accents, a NISMO tachometer, and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and gauge hood.
Nissan equips the ‘24 GT-R with traction control, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and cruise control. Along with that, every GT-R receives a full airbag system, anti-lock brakes, and electronic brake force distribution to ensure proportionate braking across all four wheels.
Across the board, the ’24 GT-R has the 8-inch touchscreen NissanConnect infotainment system. Its features are built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, SiriusXM satellite radio, an 11-speaker Bose audio system, voice recognition, and access to NissanConnect remote vehicle services.
