2023 Nissan Z for Sale in West Springfield, MA

Overview
The all-new 2023 Nissan Z is finally here after a lengthy wait, and that’s making fans of the two-seater quite happy. This enthusiast-oriented sports car follows the last-generation 370Z, although Nissan has dropped the numerical prefix in favor of the cool and simplified single letter. With a slew of enhanced attributes, this latest edition solidly maintains the nameplate’s 50-year-plus heritage.
The upgrades to the ’23 Z are all encompassing. The most prominent among them – aside from the retuned suspension and steering systems – is the more powerful 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, which cranks out 400 hp and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. The six-speed manual transmission makes a welcome return, too, but this time it has rev-matching and launch control in the Performance and Proto Spec variants. A quick-response nine-speed automatic is now optional as well, and it comes standard with launch control no matter the trim. The redesigned Z also gets an elevated exterior appearance and a more sophisticated cabin with better features and all-new technologies, including a larger infotainment touchscreen and a sleek digital gauge cluster.
Trims, Powertrain, and Fuel Economy
Nissan’s seventh-generation Z is a two-seat sports car that’s currently made in Sport, Performance, and limited-edition Proto Spec trim levels. Each gets a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 400 hp and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. To the delight of those who truly relish becoming one with their car, a six-speed manual transmission comes standard. Drivers who aren’t as hands-on can opt for the available nine-speed automatic with aluminum paddle shifters. In keeping with the sports car tradition, the Z has a rear-wheel drivetrain. With the manual transmission, it pulls off an EPA-estimated 18 mpg around town and 24 mpg on the highway. The nine-speed automatic brings the fuel economy up to 19 city/28 highway.
Remarkable Features
The Sport trim’s exterior shows off some fully modern lighting (automatic LED headlights, signature LED daytime running lights, and double-ring LED 3D taillights), plus flush door handles, 18-inch wheels with high-performance rear tires, special Nissan Z fender emblems, side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and Nissan Intelligent Key (proximity entry). Its interior features are highlighted by automatic climate control, push-button ignition, a 12.3-inch customizable digital gauge cluster, two 12-volt power outlets, both USB-A and USB-C ports, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, illuminated vanity mirrors, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob, and parking brake handle. The Performance adds heated side mirrors, 19-inch wheels, a HomeLink universal garage door opener, a lockable dampened glove compartment, active noise enhancement and cancellation technology, power-adjustable heated seats with leather and suede trim, a premium leather-wrapped steering wheel, and aluminum sport pedals. The Proto Spec flaunts exclusive bronze-tone wheels, leather seats with yellow accents, yellow interior trim details, and cloth-and-suede door trim.
Driver-Assistance Technologies
The 2023 Z focuses on performance, but it’s well equipped with active safety features through the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite. These technologies include adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, intelligent forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, intelligent driver alertness, and hill start assist.
Entertainment and Connectivity
The Nissan Z has been given a fully updated infotainment system for 2023. The base version in the Sport trim has an 8-inch touchscreen with voice recognition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, an audio system with six speakers, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The Performance and Proto Spec move up to a 9-inch touchscreen and add navigation, NissanConnect remote vehicle services, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a Bose audio system with eight speakers and dual subwoofers.
