2022 Nissan Titan for Sale in West Springfield, MA

Overview
One thing’s for sure: Americans love pickup trucks. This automotive segment stays hot because pickups are not just versatile but necessary for contractors and others who simply want a truly useful vehicle. While some folks can get by with a compact or midsized truck, others absolutely need the space and brawn of a full-sized pickup like the 2022 Nissan Titan.
The Titan offers more standard horsepower – 400 with premium gasoline – than the other full-sized, gas-powered pickups, which should get the attention of anyone shopping in this class. While that will be enough to convince a lot of buyers, there’s the extra appeal of the Titan’s best-in-class warranty (5 years or 100,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage) and class-leading standard advanced safety technology. What’s more, the Titan is also one of the few trucks where the base trim has seating for six. There’s also a heavy-duty variant, the Titan XD, which we discuss on a separate page.
Trims, Configurations, and Powertrain
The 2022 Nissan Titan comes in two cab styles (King and Crew) and four trim levels: S, SV, PRO-4X, and Platinum Reserve. The King Cab (available on the S and SV) offers two-row seating via two standard front doors and two rear access doors, while the larger Crew Cab (available on all trims) does it with four standard doors. The bed sizes differ as well, with the King Cab getting a 6.5-foot cargo bed versus a 5.5-foot bed for the Crew Cab. Except for the six-passenger S, which has a first-row bench seat, all Titan trims seat five. A properly equipped Titan can tow up to 9,320 pounds or carry as much as 1,710 lb. of payload.
The Titan’s 5.6-liter V8 engine makes 400 horsepower and 413 lb.-ft. of torque with high-octane fuel; it’s accompanied by a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard while four-wheel (4WD) drive is optional on all but the PRO-4X, which gets it standard. According to the EPA, RWD Titans will return 16 mpg in town and 21 mpg on the highway. This changes to 15 city/21 highway for those with 4WD (except for the PRO-4X, where highway mileage goes down a tad to 20 mpg).
Standard Equipment
The Titan S has everything an entry-level truck needs: a spray-on bed liner, a trailer hitch, keyless entry, manual air conditioning, push-button start, a 7-inch driver information display, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, a 60/40-split fold-up rear bench seat, 18-inch steel wheels, vinyl-coated floors, black bumpers and other exterior accents, a front skid plate, rear privacy glass, and a manual-sliding rear window. The SV adds LED taillights, body-colored bumpers and other exterior accents, heated power side mirrors, a power-sliding rear window (King Cab only), dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents (optional on the Crew Cab), carpeted floors, 18-inch alloy wheels, and an eight-way power driver’s seat (optional on the Crew Cab). Those who order the SV with the Crew Cab can elect to add the SV Convenience Package to match the equipment level of the King Cab SV.
The PRO-4X is made for the trails with its 18-inch all-terrain tires, Bilstein off-road shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, hill descent control, additional skid plates, and trailer sway control. It also gets automatic high beams, two-tone exterior paint, LED exterior lighting, trim-specific cloth upholstery (leather is available), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a lockable rear storage compartment. The Platinum Reserve gets the biggest slate of features: leather seats (heated and ventilated in the front row), heated power-folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a power-sliding rear window, running boards with chrome accents, 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome exterior accents, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Advanced Driver-Assist Technologies
Nissan has equipped every ’22 Titan with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, and lane-departure warning. Front and rear parking sensors are standard on the King Cab SV and Platinum Reserve and available on the Crew Cab SV and PRO-4X. A surround-view monitor comes standard on the Platinum Reserve and is optional on the PRO-4X.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The base infotainment system, found in the S trim, has an 8-inch color touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), Bluetooth connectivity, and two USB ports. The King Cab SV, PRO-4X, and Platinum Reserve upgrade to a 9-inch touchscreen and add navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and access to Nissan telematics and a Wi-Fi hotspot (these features can be added to the Crew Cab SV). A 12-speaker Fender sound system is available on the PRO-4X and included with the Platinum Reserve.
